College Walk: the path has been realigned, widened, duplicated and line marked for better cyclist and pedestrian access. New lighting has been installed and landscaping has been completed, including new tree spacing for better light outcomes at night. New street furniture has also been installed. A first for Canberra is the low carbon footprint pavement along half the cycle path which was made by reusing 540 old tyres. This water permeable path is better for tree health and captures pollutants before they enter Lake Tuggeranong.
Bartlet Place crossing: the pedestrian and cyclist crossing has been upgraded to current standards for safety and access and better lighting has been installed.
