Luminous Canopy transforms a walkway at Walsh Bay into an immersive corridor of colour, sound, and movement. Suspended from a large overhead net, 10,000 lightweight streamers, each 400 mm long and made from a mix of translucent and reflective materials, respond to the shifting breeze and create constantly changing textures and patterns.

RGB LED lighting illuminates the canopy from both sides, washing the streamers in evolving colour sequences that ripple across the surface as the wind moves through the installation. As participants walk beneath the canopy, they are enveloped in a natural soundscape, with subtle tones accompanying the visual choreography above. The result is a multisensory environment where light, air, and sound converge to create a living, ever‑changing overhead landscape.
